The Embassy of Denmark in Belgrade has a vacancy for a temporary full-time position as Administrative Assistant.

The Embassy of Denmark covers Denmark’s relation to Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina where we serve the interests of Denmark in consular, political, economic, commercial and cultural affairs.

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated person to work at the Danish Embassy in Belgrade in the full-time position which includes assisting in different fields of Embassy’s work, with an emphasis on administration and commercial sector and communication.




  • Basic education from University
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English and Serbian
  • Knowledge of Danish will be a strong asset
  • Previous working experience will be an advantage, but is not mandatory

  • We are looking for a candidate that has the following personal skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, service minded and responsible
  • Flexibility and the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • The ability to effectively communicate in a clear, concise and polite manner with public
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Willingness to proactively learn and become acquainted with all the relevant procedures and ensure that they are followed at all times
  • Excellent IT skills


Terms of employment


The employment will be on local terms and conditions, in accordance with the Embassy´s local regulations and policies.

Recruitment presupposes security clearance by the Danish authorities.


The contract starts 1st of February 2015 and runs for one year with a possibility of extension.
